Terms of use

In short: use SYC-AI with your own AI accounts, follow your providers' rules, don't abuse the service, and keep your device and password safe. SYC-AI (Main) is free during the launch; paid editions will show their price before anything is charged.

The service

SYC-AI lets you run AI command-line tools (such as Claude Code and Codex) on your own devices through SYC Node, and use them from the SYC-AI panel on the web, on Android and on desktop. SYC-AI is an independent product and is not affiliated with Anthropic, OpenAI, Google or any other AI provider.

Your account

Keep your password safe; you are responsible for what happens under your account and on your connected devices.
One person per account. Do not share or sell access to your account.
You must be at least 16 years old.

Your AI accounts

You connect your own accounts with AI providers and must follow their terms, usage policies and limits.
Do not use SYC-AI to get around a provider's limits, restrictions or safety measures, to share one provider account between several people, or to resell provider access.

Acceptable use

Do not use SYC-AI to break the law, to harm people or systems, to send spam or unsolicited messages, to access computers or accounts you are not allowed to access, or to overload or attack the service. We may suspend an account that does, and we will tell you why unless the law or security prevents it.

SYC-AI's own files, settings and instructions on your device (the ~/.syc-node folder outside your workspace) are part of the service, not of your projects. Do not read, copy, change or work around them, or ask the agents to. The agents refuse such requests and tell you so; SYC Node refuses the file access itself; and the attempt is recorded for the SYC-AI team. Repeated attempts to change these files suspend the account automatically until we have reviewed it.

Your data and your devices

Your content stays yours. SYC Node runs on your device with the permissions you give it; you can pause it (syc-node pause) or remove it (syc-node uninstall) at any time. How we handle data is described in the privacy notice.

Plans and payment

SYC-AI (Main) is free during the launch offer shown in the panel. When paid editions open, their price and period are shown before you choose them, and nothing is charged without your action. If a free period ends, your data is kept; access to the paid features pauses until you choose a plan.

Software licence

The published source code of SYC-AI is available under the licence in its GitHub repository (Business Source License 1.1). The names SYC and SYC-AI and their logos are not licensed for other products.

No warranty

SYC-AI is provided "as is". AI agents can make mistakes: review what they do, keep backups of important work, and approve actions carefully. To the extent the law allows, SYC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for actions an agent takes that you approved or allowed.
